Motor Assist’s continued growth has been bolstered after Somerset Bridge extended its collaboration with the end-to-end incident management expert to further enhance its range of outsourced services.
The collaboration underscores Somerset Bridge’s commitment to providing consistently high levels of customer care while giving it access to industry-leading claims handling, vehicle rental and repair management services.
The news arrives after Motor Assist delivered robust growth in 2024, helping an increasing number of drivers to remain mobile following an accident while ensuring repairs are carried out quickly and efficiently.
The collaboration with Somerset Bridge reinforces the growth of Motor Assist as a key partner for dealers, fleets and insurers. Motor Assist is providing first-rate customer care while achieving significant growth in demand for its diverse range of services.
Chief Commercial Officer, Scott Hamilton-Cooper, from AX and Motor Assist commented: “We are delighted to continue our partnership with Somerset Bridge. We understand we are always representing our partners’ brands and are proud to be the supplier trusted to deliver these integrated services on their behalf. Thank you to the Operational and Service Delivery departments of both organisations who have seamlessly worked in partnership to deliver exceptional levels of service throughout a significant period of growth.”
Somerset Bridge is a specialist in the provision of comprehensive insurance solutions focussed on underwriting, broker and claims handling services. Through this renewed partnership, Motor Assist will deliver repair management services, vehicle hire and claims handling expertise.
Lynne Clark, Claims Operations Director at Somerset Bridge, commented on the strong relationship built between our two brands: “Over the last 12 months, we have seen tremendous growth and AX has consistently demonstrated excellence in its service levels. This has ensured our customers always receive the care and support they need. We are confident that this renewed agreement will further strengthen our collaboration.”
While the credit hire and accident management sectors suffer supply chain issues and struggle to achieve consistently high levels of efficiency, Motor Assist has managed to realise noteworthy growth.
It has successfully navigated industry supply chain issues through a combination of the growth of its network of bodyshop partners and its expanding fleet of vehicles. This has also been underpinned by integrating technology which both increases transparency and efficiency, ensuring that claims are processed more quickly while ensuring the correct solution is chosen first time.
Reflecting on the partnership and the accident aftercare sector, Steve Molloy, Director of Commercial Sales at AX, added: “It was clear back in 2018 that our values and company culture were aligned. We have grown together and developed a trusting relationship that allows us to be adaptable while delivering excellence.
“We will keep evolving our methods to stay at the forefront of our sector and to offer the consistency of customer care that our partners need. Despite all the difficulties some providers are facing, we managed to achieve our growth objectives in 2024 and we’re aiming to do so this year too.”
